Fishing...

Chris said that he'd take the kids fishing tomorrow (Wednesday June 10) to Footprinter's Pond. Which is only about 5 minutes from our house. Thomas spoke up, " Can we go to the Mississippi, PLEASE!!!" Which is easily a day and half's drive for us.

Who's Underwear?

Today while the kids were folding up laundry. Heidi was holding up a pair of "boys underwear" . She asked, " Mom, who's are these? Thomas's or Ethan's?" I could tell how small they were and said, "They're Ethan's." "Are you sure? Because they have Thomas's name all over them." (They just happened to be some Thomas the Train Underwear that had the name Thomas all over the underwear as part of the design. )

Faulty Fart???

The other night Smartie Pants was trying to say: " It's not my fault." But it came out as this: "It's not my fart."

Is your Mom There?

Sunshine (6yr) answered the phone today. On the other end: "Is your Mom there" Sunshine : "No, But do you want to talk to her?" *** I was sitting right beside her when this happened. My friend relayed the conversation back to me.
