Learning My Name

So last night I was tucking Thomas into bed, and he had kind of fallen asleep on my bed with Chris and after I grabbed him up and carried him, kicking and screaming to his own room, where Ethan the 10 month old little brother was already fast asleep. I laid Thomas down in the bed and covered him up with his "blankie" -- he started screaming because he wanted changed into his pajamies since he was still wearing his day clothes. ( when earlier I tried to put him into his jams only to have him scream extremely loud that he didn't want to wear them, and that he wanted to sleep in his "church" clothes.) So finally he wanted me to change him, I grabbed the pajamas and placed them on him, and covered him up and sang him I love to see the Temple and then he gave me a hug and kiss and said, " Mommy, I love you, but I'm thirsty!" I replied with, " I love you babe! - I'll be right back." He instantly said, " I'm not babe!!" I said, " Then what are you?" " I'm Thomas Randolph!" " I'm David Randolph!" and after a few attempts he finally said, " I'm Thomas David Randolph!" The story continues though: So I left the room and kept the door open so I could go get him a drink of water, I got distracted with Kaylee at the computer trying to finish her essay and then I remembered the drink and by the time I got back in the room, he was already snoring and Ethan was still sound asleep.

I have an IDEA

Just today: Feb 22, 2008 On the way home from picking up the girls from school, Thomas says out loud, " Guys, I have an idea!" Then he says this: " Lets go home, put on our swimming suits and go sledding!" And Heidi had this to say later in the day: I was asking my girls where the crepe paper rolls were, and Heidi found the red one. I then said, " Do you guys want to help me decorate tomorrow?" " YES! " --- "YEAH!" "To help decorate her CAR!?" I think Heidi got the "reception" and the "bridal shower" mixed up and as for Thomas --uh, yeah right!!

GOT MILK??

My sister just recently had her third baby and Jacob, her oldest son who is 6, said this: Mommy you have a gallon on each side!" Of course, she is nursing and the rest is self explanatory!!

We were driving home from Walmart this afternoon and Heidi was looking at her class list for Valentines, and Katherine was quizing her where certain kids names were on the list. She named a few and then asked "where's James?"
Thomas pipes up with: " James is at home guys!" --- Because he got a train engine from Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends -- The red one named James

I of course couldn't help but to laugh my head off !!! Because I knew that he was talking about something else.
